Interior Decorating With Photos To Personalize Your Interiors

Interior decorating with photos add that personalized touch to your home interiors. Pictures of your family and friends sure beats any art décor for they speak a lot about you and the rest of the people dwelling in your home. Many people adorn their walls with their wedding pictures as well as baby pictures of their kids. In fact, a home hardly feels like one without any pictures of the dwellers. This is why even office workers bring pictures of their loved ones at work, for them to feel at home and have that sense of well-being.

However, when you are interior decorating, you need to achieve a certain cohesion and organization in your interior design ideas. You just cannot have all walls decorated with your family photos. Pretty soon, you will have no space left and your walls will look very cluttered. A small space will not benefit much from interior decorating with photos unless you do it properly. Displaying photos require planning so that you can use these as highlight and centerpieces rather than odd clutter that seemed out of place.

A good way to display your photos is by using photo mobile, which is a constantly moving picture frame that can show your favorite photos. It is a wonderful decorative addition for your child or even your teenager’s room. However, it may cost you a bit jus to add this to your bedroom interior design.  Another good and cheaper alternative is to make a signature timepiece like a record clock. You can even make this yourself by getting a plate or any wood surface and just drill a hole through the center to make your clock. Then you will need craft glue and a clock kit to complete the project. This is a wonderful way to record events in your life through several pictures representing a specific time frame.

Another good and environmentally sound option for your interior decorating with photos is to use old glass jars. All you need to do is soak these jars to peel off the labels and then simply insert a photo upside down. This is an interesting glass jar frame for your pictures, a new twist to the usual photo frames. Another idea that involves glass is for you to decoupage a table. Just get an old table top and attach pictures to it using craft glue. Then cover it with glass conforming to the shape of your table top so as to protect your pictures from spills. You now have a very unique coffee table perfect to entertain your guests with your creativity.

Nowadays, with the advent of digital cameras, we often clicked away pictures of our baby hoping to catch his or her every expression and gestures. Before you know it, you have collected quite a substantial amount of your baby pictures that displaying them becomes a problem. An innovative way that is also geared towards recycling is to use the old mattress spring frame of your baby crib mattress. You can spruce it up with a new fresh paint like white and just add your pictures and other memorabilia using hand-painted clothes pins.  This is a very unique way of interior decorating with photos for your home interior design. There are many ways to enliven your house interior design with just your imagination and your creativity. The main thing to observe is that your display is neat and organized.
